About

Hi I’m Brook! I can’t really tell you when I began my love of design, because it has always caught my eye. In 2015 I was given a 1951 Singer Featherweight sewing machine for Christmas from my loving parents. That is when my journey began.

I started sewing quilts right away. I made my first quilt for my Mom for mothers day 3 months later. We had watched all of the Downton Abbey episodes together, so I thought, “Why not make a quilt for her out of the fabrics inspired by the show!” I had so much fun picking out the fabrics, laying them out, and finding a quilt design that fit the quilt and feel of the fabrics and show.

From that moment on, each quilt that I made, I carefully thought about the people I was making the quilt for, and enjoyed everything from the fabrics I chose, to the design that was quilted. I just couldn’t stop!

Then 3 years and 12 quilts later, I went to a quilt show with my mom. We had been walking around looking at the beautiful quilts when we stumbled across a long-arm quilting machine. I had seen them before in the quilt shops, but I never thought I would be able to own one myself, let alone make a business out of it.

Of course I immediately fell in love with the machine. My parents and husband have always been extremely encouraging and I love that about them. They continued to plant the idea in my head and let me stew on it over a few months.

That’s when I knew I wanted to share the experience with others, and not just through my own quilts, but I also wanted to help others with their quilts.

Quilts have such a special place in our hearts. That’s what I enjoy most about quilting. Helping people achieve their dreams of this wonderful gift that is made with love and thoughtfulness. The idea of being apart of that brings me so much joy!

I look forward to helping you finish your quilts, or helping create a quilt for a loved one! Feel free to look around, and make sure to check out my social media pages to see more photos!

Happy sewing,

Brook
